Sebastian Wrong Flyknit Chair
I was brought in to develop the flyknit fabric for the Sebastian Wrong Flyknit chair that was part of Nike’s Nature of Motion exhibition at the 2016 Milan Furniture Fair. Wrong’s design celebrated Umberto Boccioni’s 1913 painting “Dynamism of a Soccer Player,” and to translate this futurist masterpiece into a woven fabric I worked directly with the Nike Flyknit teams and stretched their capabilities to the edges.
